Russell Branyan spent the bulk of his career with the Indians, playing for 10 teams across 13 seasons.
Russell Branyan is cold blooded.
The former big leaguer is accused of breaking into his ex-wife’s Tennessee home while she was sleeping, taking some stuff and, before leaving, turning down the heat on his former flame.
“The defendant entered while the victim was asleep and removed various items from the home. The defendant also tampered with the thermostat inside of the home, making it extremely cold,” the arrest warrant from Branyon’s caper reads.
According to the warrant, Branyan later contacted his ex-wife, telling her that he took the items but wanted to return them.
Branyan and his wife, Jill, have four kids together. He was busted in 2008 for assaulting her while the two were in a car together but had the charges against him dropped after pleading no contest and completing a diversion program.
