Mike Ditka denies farting on ESPN’s ‘Monday Night Countdown’

ESPN’s studio shows are filled with plenty of hot air, and Mike Ditka insists he wasn’t adding to it.

On Tuesday, the former Bears coach and current NFL analyst denied that he supplied the gas that gave Cris Carter the giggles on “Monday Night Countdown.”

“It wasn’t me,” Ditka, 76, told the Chicago Sun-Times. “Believe me, I’m to the point in my life where it doesn’t matter. One day I’ll be happy if I can leave a fart. Right now, it wasn’t me. I don’t care what they think. They can think anything they want.”
