San Francisco Giants pitcher Madison Bumgarner carries the 2014 Giants championship pennant while riding a San Francisco Police horse in the AT&T Park outfield.

Madison Bumgarner is riding into town — literally.

The Giants ace finally made it to Scottsdale, Ariz., for spring training after taking the long route from his home in North Carolina.

He also brought his horses.

Bumgarner wouldn’t reveal how many quarterhorses he brought with him to Scottsdale, but there’s “between one and 10,” he told the Mercury News.

The pitcher, who turned heads after starting three games in the 2014 World Series, is well known for his backwoods lumberjack look and size.

New Giants pitcher Johnny Cueto isn’t quite as burly, but he’s just as much of a fan of horses as Bumgarner.

“Look, we added a Dominican who looks like he’ll turn out to be a redneck as well,” Jave Peavy said.

“We’ll throw him over with us on redneck row.”
