Eric Decker practices in full, fantasy status never in doubt

Denver Broncos wide receiver Eric Decker (shoulder) fully participated in practice all week long and is expected to start Sunday’s game against the Indianapolis Colts. Decker has 34 catches for 477 yards and two touchdowns through six games this year.

Fantasy impact: Decker’s status shouldn’t at all be a surprise as he was never really in danger of missing Sunday’s game and has yet to miss any action so far this season.

The Broncos’ passing game is unlike any other team in the league this year. It’s fully locked and loaded with weapons and led by possibly the best gun-slingers of all time, Peyton Manning.

The biggest concern going into this season for fantasy owners wasn’t trying to guage how good the Broncos would be, but rather who would be the biggest beneficiaries in the passing game. As most people probably expected, Wes Welker seems to be the go-to guy for touchdowns while Decker, Demaryius Thomas and Julius Thomas battler it out otherwise.

All of the Broncos receivers get plenty of targets and Decker is no exception. He’s a good bet to pickup at least five or six catches and he’ll be a good fantasy play in Indianapolis this week as his quarterback looks to leave a mark on his former team.
