Clinton, Trump locked in statistical tie in 5 swing states: polls

Hillary Clinton and Donald Trump remain mired in a dead heat in five key battleground states, a group of polls released Sunday showed.

Clinton is clinging to a one-percentage-point lead in both New Hampshire and Nevada, according to two WSJ/NBC News /Marist polls.

In New Hampshire, Clinton is leading Trump 42%-41%, while in Nevada, she’s leading 45%-44%.

Clinton, however, has made gains in the traditionally Republican states of Arizona, where she trails Trump 42%-41%, and Georgia, where she trails Trump 46%-43%.

All four of the results were within each of the polls’ margin-of-error.

Yet another poll shows a tight race in the swing state of Florida, where, according to a CBS News Battleground survey released Sunday, Clinton leads Trump 44%-42%.

A Washington Post / ABC News national poll, however, still shows Clinton with a five percentage point lead.

In that poll, which features a hypothetical four-way race, Clinton led Trump 46%-41% among likely voters, with Libertarian Party nominee Gary Johnson getting 9% and Green Party nominee Jill Stein getting 2%.
